Presentation to the Forum of Indian Regulators (FOIR) 31st May 2001. FOIR invited Prayas to make a presentation on the consumers’ concerns. This presentation discusses why the regulatory commissions should take active steps to operationalise transparency in commissions’ functioning, strengthen active and meaningful public participation, and be accountable to people at large.
